Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gym Manager to oversee the daily operations of the fitness club, ensure high-quality customer service, manage staff, and support the growth and success of the gym in Amman, Jordan.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day gym operations
- Supervise staff and trainers and prepare work schedules
- Manage memberships, customer service, and handle complaints professionally
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor maintenance of gym equipment and facilities
- Coordinate fitness classes, bookings, and training programs
- Prepare regular reports on performance, revenue, and expenses
- Support marketing activities and help increase memberships
- Manage suppliers and basic procurement needs
- Ensure compliance with management policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Physical Education, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in gym or fitness center management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to use management systems
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team
- Experience in fitness marketing or membership sales is a plus
