Gymnastics Coach

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Impera Sports is looking for an experienced and passionate Gymnastics Coach to join our team in Riyadh. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning outcomes of students aged 3 and above. We are seeking someone with strong instructional and leadership skills who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in our supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sports Manager, Gymnastics Unit Head, and Administration to achieve academy-wide goals.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to promote age-appropriate training activities.
  • Monitor and support students who require special attention, including those with special needs.
  • Collaborate with management to set strategic directions and integrate assistant coaches.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills when engaging with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Conduct planning meetings with coaching staff and communicate with parents when required.

Coaching Duties

  • Take attendance at each class using the attendance system.
  • Communicate key messages to gymnasts during training.
  • Assess skill levels and adjust student groups accordingly, in coordination with the manager.
  • Review lesson plans and schedules prior to each class.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.
  • Maintain up-to-date student profiles, including photos.
  • Follow up with absent students and track attendance patterns.
  • Regularly update parents on progress through the evaluation and reporting system.
  • Use follow-up, make-up class, and student withdrawal reports effectively.

Parent Engagement

  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress and skill development.
  • Address punctuality and consistent lateness.
  • Encourage parents to add training days where beneficial.
  • Suggest schedule adjustments to fit student needs and abilities.
  • Motivate students to participate in academy competitions and events.
  • Ensure all students wear proper uniforms.

Class Preparation & Standards

  • Arrive 30 minutes before each session to take attendance and prepare the venue.
  • Wear the official academy uniform.
  • Store mobile phones during training sessions.
  • Set up all required equipment before class begins.
  • Review the session plan and clarify uncertainties with the Head Coach.

Operational Duties

  • Coordinate with the designated Health & Safety for venue concerns.
  • Conduct daily end-of-session report.
  • Assist new children during tryout sessions and advise parents on suitable schedules.
  • Supervise safe student pickups according to academy policy.
  • Monitor session participation and identify opportunities for enrolment growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recognized coaching certification (FIG, USAG, BG, FGI, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience coaching children at beginner through competitive levels.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt training to mixed-ability groups.
  • Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate before starting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Riyadh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Coaching: 1 year (Preferred)
