GYN Medical Scribe - Part time

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring that medical records are complete and up-to-date, allowing providers to focus on delivering high-quality patient care. EXPERIENCE AS SCRIBE IS A MUST.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient interactions in real-time within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ensure that all medical terminology is used correctly and that documentation reflects the patient's condition and treatment accurately.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure all necessary information is captured for billing and insurance purposes.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and relevant healthcare practices to enhance documentation quality.
• Assisting with office tasks and results as needed

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to effectively document patient care.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and systems, including electronic health record (EHR) software.
• Excellent typing skills with a high degree of accuracy for efficient transcription of medical records.
• Ability to understand and navigate emergency room (ER) protocols when documenting urgent care situations.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals and ensure clarity in documentation processes.
