Gypsum Board Installer

We are seeking a skilled Gypsum Board Installer to join our construction and interior fit-out team. The role involves measuring, cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum boards (drywall) on walls, ceilings, and partitions in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, mark, and cut gypsum boards to required sizes and shapes.
• Install gypsum boards on walls, ceilings, bulkheads, and partitions using screws, nails, adhesives, or other fastening methods.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting of boards.
• Prepare wall and ceiling surfaces for finishing by applying tape, joint compound, or plaster.
• Perform sanding, smoothing, and finishing for a seamless surface ready for painting or decoration.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades (painters, electricians, carpenters, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with company and site-specific health & safety standards.
• Report progress, material requirements, and any issues to the Site Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
