Overview

ALTA VITA is seeking an experienced Gypsum Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of gypsum ceilings and partition walls, ensuring precision and quality in every project. The role also involves taping and jointing work to deliver smooth, flawless finishes.

Key Responsibilities

- Install gypsum ceilings and partition walls according to project specifications and drawings.

- Perform taping, jointing, and finishing to achieve a high quality surface.

- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

- Measure and cut gypsum boards accurately.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

- Coordinate with project managers and other construction team members to meet deadlines.

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gypsum carpentry, specifically in ceilings and partition walls installation.

- Strong knowledge of taping, jointing, and finishing techniques.

- Strong knowledge of final finishes and excellent painting ability

- Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans.

- Good understanding of safety practices in construction sites.

- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

- Certification in carpentry or related trade.
