1. ROLE & MISSION
Within Maison Carita, an icon of Parisian luxury, the Hairdresser embodies professional excellence, refinement, and the art of the craft. As a hair expert, they offer tailor-made services, combining technical skill, creativity, and relational elegance. They contribute to creating an exceptional experience, consistent with Carita's philosophy: precision, personalization, excellence, and global beauty.
2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome & Client Experience
- Offer a highly personalized experience to each client, in the spirit of the Maison de Beauté: exclusive, attentive, and seamless.
- Create an atmosphere of trust and reassurance, based on active listening and emotional intelligence.
- Adopt relational elegance at every step: communication, posture, touch, gaze, and guidance.
- Follow Carita's welcome standards (client reception upon arrival, accompaniment to cabins, tea/coffee service, ambiance).
- Coordinate services with the beauty teams to ensure an integrated beauty experience (face/body treatment + hair).
Operational & Administrative Management
- Perform a full range of hairdressing services: women's/men's cuts, blow-drying, styling, updos, and event hairstyling.
- Master all coloring techniques: balayage, highlights, toners, glossing, lightening, and root touch-ups.
- Execute scalp and hair care rituals according to the Carita method (scalp care, massages, expert gestures).
- Accurately diagnose hair and scalp conditions (visual and tactile analysis, habits, needs).
- Master the world of professional hair care (Carita, Kérastase, L’Oréal Professionnel, as per the Maison).
- Work in line with the Carita philosophy: technical skill, precision, aesthetic coherence, and elegance of gesture.
- Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, cleanliness of the workstation, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in maintaining the overall image of the Maison (order, ambiance, aesthetic line).
Clienteling & Loyalty
- Advise on suitable hair products and rituals: professional treatments, at-home routines, and products recommended by the Maison.
- Explain the benefits of products with clear pedagogy, passion, and scientific expertise (hair cosmetology).
- Ensure additional sales consistent with identified needs, without pressure, in the Carita spirit.
- Contribute to client loyalty by fostering a desire for them to return and embodying the Carita spirit through attitude, touch, and hair mastery.
3. SKILLS & EXPERTISE
Relational & Emotional Expertise

Operational Skills
- Expert mastery of cutting and styling (all hair types).
- Expertise in high-end coloring: balayage, ombré, highlighting, toning.
- Perfect blow-drying technique.
- In-depth knowledge of scalp care (diagnosis, massages, common issues).
- Mastery of technical products (oxidation, pigments, developers, textures).
- In-depth knowledge of hair and scalp biology, hair cosmetology, and common pathologies (sensitivity, hair loss, imbalances, dryness).
- Knowledge of luxury beauty and hairdressing trends.
4. DESIRED PROFILE
- CAP / BP / Complementary Mention / Bac Pro in hairdressing (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience in high-end salons or a luxury environment.
- Excellent presentation, excellent verbal communication.
- Proficiency in English (oral, written) is a plus for international clientele.
