Hand Mig Welder

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Hand MIG Welders to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding processes and be capable of reading blueprints, following work instructions, and producing high-quality welds in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate materials and adjusting settings.
• Inspect and measure complete welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Communicate any defects or material issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with other tasks in the fabrication department as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Must be able to pass a welding test. AWS certification required
