Handyman - Home Repair Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in home repairs and maintenance, demonstrating the ability to handle various tasks efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship in residential settings. MUST have vehicle. (MUST have your own Tools,)

Duties

• Lawn Mowing and trimming (Must have your own mower and weekeater).
• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
• Respond promptly to repair requests from clients, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
• Lawn mowing, and weed whacking, cleanup, landscaping, and even house cleaning sometimes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and any necessary updates.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency.
• we will provide the tools needed for the job, most equipment will be kept in One of the rental properties.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. working with things like clogged sinks and toilets, painting , install light switches, patching up walls, caulking bathrooms, mowing lawns a MUST, House hold Cleanup in general.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
• Must Provide references.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
