Job Summary
We are seeking a Home Improvement Specialist 1099 contractor that is skilled and experienced to join our team. Permanent (W-2) employment possible. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various handyman and home improvement techniques, and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This role involves working on existing residential homes or businesses. Performing remodeling tasks and ensuring that all work is acceptable to our homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Variety of handyman repairs. Note: we do NOT perform plumbing, electrical or HVAC work.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects.
• Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with company owner to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter or handyman
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of home improvement and installation techniques
• Caulking and painting preferred
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
