Afro Egypt is currently hiring a
Hardware Management Specialist
to support telecom equipment management, reverse logistics, and operational coordination within the Telecom Egypt project.
Key Responsibilities
Faulty Equipment Handling & Reverse Logistics
-
Manage the end-to-end process for faulty telecom equipment returned from the field.

Coordinate the replacement process including verification, tracking, and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation and closure of faulty equipment cases.
Warehouse & Material Coordination
-
Coordinate with warehouse teams for equipment receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch.
-
Track equipment movement between field teams, warehouses, and repair centers.
-
Ensure accurate inventory handling and reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a coordination point between multiple stakeholders including:

Project Management teams
-
Warehouse and logistics teams
-
Field operations teams
-
Customer representatives
Ensure smooth communication and alignment across all involved parties.
Process Monitoring & Case Management

Monitor ongoing cases related to faulty equipment and ensure timely resolution.

Maintain tracking records and follow up on pending actions.
-
Ensure compliance with the defined operational process.
Tools & Systems Usage
-
Use internal operational tools for case tracking, ticket creation, and status monitoring.
-
Maintain accurate records and updates within the system for transparency and reporting.
Knowledge Transfer & Process Documentation

Document operational workflows and maintain clear process guidelines.

Support onboarding and training of new team members involved in the process.
Continuous Improvement & Automation Opportunities

Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes.
-
Support discussions related to automation of repetitive tasks and workflow optimization.
Project Support & Operational Alignment
-
Support ongoing activities within the Telecom Egypt project related to equipment management and operational coordination.

Ensure alignment with project timelines and operational requirements.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Telecommunications, Logistics, or a related field
.
-
1–3 years of experience
in telecom operations, hardware management, logistics coordination, or similar roles.
-
Hands-on experience with Nokia operational tools and systems is required.
-
Experience in
faulty equipment handling, reverse logistics, or hardware replacement processes
.
-
Familiarity with
warehouse operations and inventory tracking
.
-
Strong
coordination and stakeholder management skills
.
-
Good
documentation, reporting, and case tracking skills
.
-
Ability to
manage multiple tasks and follow up on operational activities effectively
.
-
Experience working on
telecom projects or with telecom vendors is a plus
.
