Job Description:
Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- ICS/DAE (CIT)/FSc with 4 years of relevant experience.
Desirable:
- DAE (CIT, Electronics) with 2–3 years in ICT Support role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain ICT hardware systems.
- Provide timely support for end-user complaints.
- Manage HEC Smart Classroom operations, online meetings, and related technologies.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, UPS systems, and multimedia projectors.
- Perform structured cabling for ICT and surveillance networks.
- Handle urgent ICT-related complaints including internet and connectivity issues, regardless of timing (late-night/early morning).
- Act as an on-campus ICT resource for diverse technical issues beyond hardware, ensuring operational continuity.
Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:
Essential:
- Hardware/Software Troubleshooting
- MS Office & Online Applications
- Basic Programming & Presentation Skills
Desirable:
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, IP, switches, routers)
- OS installation & configuration (Windows/Linux)
- CCTV, UPS & multimedia/projector handling
- Documentation & reporting skills
- Time management under pressure
Training/Certification:
- Hardware Tech Certifications

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
