Primary Responsibilities
- Use CAD modeling software and drafting understanding to create CAD models and manufacturing drawings of electrical harnesses and related components
- Follow all customer required document control procedures to ensure proper data storage throughout the project
- Work with customer engineering departments/disciplines to ensure design requirements are met
- Create and deliver presentations at various required design reviews and when making engineering recommendations.
- Generate templates, document lessons-learned, develop tools, and support the creation of training presentations to enable repeatable, standardized results amongst the team
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to current engineering processes, tools, trainings, etc.
- Update status reports, present project status to customers, and work with LTTS project management to ensure productive and consistent customer communication.
- Understand and adhere to all export control regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ year(s) of relevant CAD harness/cable design and drawing creation
- Direct experience working with Creo Parametric CAD software
- Outstanding communication and technical writing skills
- Outstanding customer interfacing skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with off-highway vehicles / automotive industries
- Experience with Creo Cabling application
- Experience with Windchill PLM software
- Experience working in electrical and mechanical harness design
- An understanding of engineering services business practices
- Exposure to project or program management
- Experience writing or creating standard work, establishing processes, and documenting lessons learned
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.11 - $40.69 per hour
Work Location: Remote
