YOUR ROLE AS A HAST ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

As a part-time HAST Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Coach in organizing, implementing, and managing all swim team programs for both the HAST Club and HAST Summer League Recreation programs. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all financial details of the club and league operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency. You will assist in developing and maintaining team goals, coordinating workout schedules, meet calendars, and various team activities.

Additionally, you will manage the functions of Team Unify or similar software, streamlining communication and organization. Serving as a USA Swimming Certified Administrative Official and Meet Director, you will contribute to the seamless operation of events, ensuring a professional and enjoyable experience for all participants. Your administrative expertise will be vital in fostering a successful and vibrant swim community.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS HAST ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB

To be successful as a Part-Time HAST Administrative Assistant, candidates must possess a range of skills and knowledge essential for effective program administration. A USA Swimming Certified Administrative Official and Meet Director certification is required, or the ability to obtain it within 3-6 months of the hire date. Proficiency in the Team Unify platform and Hy-tek Meet Manager is crucial for managing team operations efficiently. Familiarity with the OMEGA timing system and scoreboard operations will enhance your capability in running events smoothly.

Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple concurrent priorities, while exceptional communication skills will facilitate coordination among coaches, athletes, and families. Additionally, a solid understanding of budgetary practices is important for ensuring the financial health of the programs. Experience in aquatics program administration or a related field will further strengthen your candidacy for this dynamic role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
