Hazardous Material Reporting Specialist - Lab Data Accuracy (Arizona Residents Only)

YOU MUST LIVE IN ARIZONA
This position is remote, but candidates must be Arizona residents.

About the Role

We are a U.S.-based environmental testing company specializing in asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials. Our clients rely on us for fast, error-free reports, and accuracy is 100% critical. Mistakes can expose people to hazardous materials, so precision and judgment matter at every step.

We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact by ensuring our customers receive accurate, reliable data they can trust. This role directly protects client decisions, safety outcomes, and our reputation.

We’re hiring a full-time, detail-obsessed professional who takes pride in flawless work and is comfortable handling high-stakes accuracy at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and review lab and vendor data into final client reports
  • Deliver clear, accurate verbal results using provided templates
  • Manage 20–40 reports and verbals per day (volume will grow as we scale)
  • Ensure all reports are 100% accurate before submission
  • Communicate directly with laboratories and field technicians to clarify results, resolve discrepancies, and confirm report details
  • Coordinate with vendors when data is missing, unclear, or inconsistent
  • Maintain organized, consistent documentation across systems

You’ll primarily work in Gmail, JobNimbus, Que, and Adobe PDF tools.

Requirements

  • Extreme attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable speaking professionally with labs, technicians, and vendors by phone and email
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new systems and workflows
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with repetitive but high-stakes work
  • Prior experience in reporting, data review, document preparation, or quality control
  • Lab or environmental testing experience is a strong plus, but not required

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Occasional Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (based on workload and included as part of the role)

Workload & Growth

This role is well-structured and manageable at our current volume, with clear processes and expectations. As our job volume increases, report volume and responsibility will grow over time. We’re looking for someone who wants a long-term role and is comfortable growing with the company.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Full-time, W-2 position
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial employer contribution)
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid company holidays

Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who:

  • Wants their work to meaningfully impact customer safety and decision-making
  • Takes pride in doing things right the first time
  • Enjoys structured, process-driven work
  • Understands that accuracy matters more than speed
  • Is comfortable picking up the phone to resolve issues
  • Is looking for stability and long-term growth, not short-term gig work

If you hold yourself to a high professional standard and want your work to genuinely matter, we’d like to hear from you.
