Hazmat Certified CDL Driver - Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Hazmat Certified CDL Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity. This dynamic role involves transporting hazardous materials and freight across various routes, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including trucks with manual transmissions, to transport hazardous and non-hazardous freight across designated routes.
• Drive various types of vehicles including van trailers, flatbeds, box trucks, and specialized equipment for different cargo needs.
• Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including proper documentation for hazardous materials (Hazmat).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols; optimize delivery schedules for timely service.
• Requirements
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat certification; endorsement for tanker, flatbed is required.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route driving and load & unload operations.
• Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently.
• Experience with freight handling equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to hazardous materials transportation and safety procedures.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy loads and securing cargo properly.
