Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Accountant Section Head
to lead our accounting team and oversee all financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial data, compliance with standards, and timely reporting to support strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with solid financial management experience and deep accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and professionalism.

Financial Operations Oversight:
Supervise all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and journal entries.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to provide insightful reports on the company's financial performance and offer recommendations for improvement.

Planning & Budgeting:
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor financial performance against approved budgets.

Compliance & Control:
Ensure the company's compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and stay updated on tax and financial regulations.

Auditing Coordination:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth and efficient financial audit processes.

System Development:
Work towards improving and optimizing accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA are highly preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

Proficiency in using financial accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP).
