Head Barista — Job Roles and Responsibilities
1. Beverage Preparation & Quality Control
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages consistently.
- Ensure all drinks meet the company’s quality and presentation standards.
- Regularly calibrate coffee machines and grinders for optimal taste.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art.
2. Team Leadership & Training
- Lead and supervise barista team during shifts.
- Train new staff on coffee preparation, customer service, and hygiene standards.
- Motivate and guide the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Schedule shifts and manage barista assignments efficiently.
3. Customer Service Excellence
- Provide excellent and friendly service to all customers.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
- Promote special menu items and upsell products.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor daily consumption and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Order coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies in coordination with the manager.
- Track wastage and implement cost-control measures.
5. Equipment & Store Maintenance
- Ensure all coffee machines and tools are cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.
- Report any equipment issues promptly.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
6. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales and reports.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with new coffee trends, techniques, and products.
- Suggest menu innovations and operational improvements.
- Support management in achieving store sales and service goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
