The Head Barista will lead and manage the coffee program, ensuring world-class beverage quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires strong leadership, advanced coffee knowledge, and a passion for luxury hospitality.
Coffee & Beverage Standards
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso beverages to premium standards
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all shifts
- Develop and refine coffee recipes aligned with the brand’s French identity
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, train, and mentor baristas to deliver exceptional service
- Conduct regular training on coffee knowledge, extraction, milk texturing, and latte art
- Prepare staff schedules and manage daily barista operations
- Monitor performance and ensure compliance with SOPs

- Manage coffee inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Ensure compliance with Qatar food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth service flow
Guest Experience
- Deliver a refined and welcoming café experience
- Engage with guests and provide coffee recommendations and education
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally
- Represent the brand as a coffee ambassador
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of professional barista experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or head barista role
- Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing methods, and equipment
- Experience in premium cafés, fine dining restaurants, or luxury hotels
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Multicultural team experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
