Head Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee operations across all branches. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in specialty coffee, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high quality and consistency. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily coffee operations across all branches
• Ensure consistent quality of coffee preparation, presentation, and service
• Train, mentor, and evaluate baristas on specialty coffee standards
• Develop and update beverage menus in line with specialty coffee trends
• Monitor and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance
• Conduct regular quality control visits across all Sesame branches in the UAE
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control for coffee-related items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all coffee stations
• Work closely with management to improve customer experience and service standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in specialty coffee
• Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, brewing methods, latte art, and bean profiling
• Experience in training and leading a team
• Willingness to travel and oversee multiple branches across the UAE
• Arabic language is a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for coffee and continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty coffee certifications (e.g., SCA)
• Experience in multi-branch café operations
• Knowledge of coffee roasting is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
