Role Overview

The Head of Brand Marketing will be responsible for shaping, launching, and growing ACG’s Basketball League. This role will lead the development of brand strategy, marketing campaigns, fan engagement initiatives, and sponsorship activations to position the league as a leading sports entertainment property in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and implement the overall brand vision, identity, and positioning for the league and its franchises.
  • Develop an integrated marketing roadmap to build awareness, affinity, and engagement among diverse audiences.
  • Create guidelines for league and team branding to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Marketing & Communications

  • Design and execute 360° marketing campaigns (digital, social, broadcast, outdoor, on-ground).
  • Manage PR, media relations, and storytelling to build visibility and credibility.
  • Oversee content strategy and fan communication across all platforms.

Fan Engagement & Community Building

  • Lead initiatives to grow a passionate basketball fan base through digital, grassroots, and experiential marketing.
  • Conceptualize fan zones, events, and loyalty programs to drive participation and retention.
  • Collaborate with schools, colleges, and basketball associations to promote the sport.

Sponsorship & Partnerships

  • Work closely with commercial teams to create marketing assets and activations for sponsors/partners.
  • Integrate brand partnerships seamlessly into the league experience.

Digital & Social Media

  • Develop data-driven social and digital strategies to maximize fan engagement and online reach.
  • Leverage emerging platforms, influencer collaborations, and esports tie-ins to build relevance among younger audiences.

Team Leadership & Budgeting

  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team (brand, digital, creative, content).
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring ROI on campaigns and initiatives.


Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in brand management or marketing, preferably in sports, entertainment, FMCG, or media industries.
  • Strong understanding of sports marketing, fan engagement, and sponsorship landscapes.
  • Proven track record of launching or scaling consumer-facing brands or leagues.
  • Creative thinker with exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in market research, analytics, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for basketball and sports entertainment (preferred).
