JOB PURPOSE / ROLE
The Enterprise Data Architect will contribute to the development of Enterprise Data Architecture strategy and ensure translation and alignment during the development and monitoring of departmental strategy including objectives, targets, and initiatives.
Responsibilities

Contribute to the development of Enterprise Data Architecture strategy.

Develop & implement the Enterprise Data Architecture policies, procedures, and controls covering all sources of the data.

Supervise the day-to-day activities and ensure compliance with established policies, processes, and procedures.

Provide directions to the data and information architecture section at the Enterprise level.

Establish a single point of contact for data architecture matters.
-
Oversee the development of the data architecture standards.
-
Review and approve all data-related models.
-
Develop and supervise the execution of the Enterprise Data Architecture strategy.
-
Ensure conformance to the agreed frameworks for data management.
-
Review and approve solution design documents.
-
Contribute to the Bank overall Enterprise architecture committee.
-
Support the governance of data movement across the bank.
-
Manage the reference data architecture.
-
Support project management for data-related activities and data dependencies.
-
Create synergies with business and other data management sections.
-
Revise designs related to system integrations online/offline.
-
Represent Enterprise Data Architecture at Governance Committee.
-
Research and evaluate technologies and tools to enable existing data practices.
-
Responsible for Conceptual, logical, and physical Data & Information Architecture.

Direct & guide subordinates on how to play the role of Enterprise Data Architect.

Provide proactive technical oversight and mentorship to architecture and development teams.
-
Manage the effective achievement of Enterprise Data Architect Management Section’s objectives.
-
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices.

Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank.
-
Assess the impacts of changes to people, processes, and systems.
-
Represent the function and actively contribute in various committees/meetings.
-
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management System or Computer Science with preferably a Master degree in MIS.

6-8 years’ experience in Architect role in particular.

Language: English: Advanced.
