ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a senior leadership (CXO-level) position focused on driving strategic growth, revenue ownership, and expansion across all verticals. It emphasizes high-level strategy, large-deal closures, government/PSU engagements, and partnerships rather than hands-on sales execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Define and execute growth strategies, identify high-potential markets, prepare annual plans, revenue forecasts, and roadmaps.
  • Lead expansion into new geographies and segments.

Government, PSU & Large Enterprise Business

  • Lead high-value tenders, projects, and deals.
  • Handle bid decisions, stakeholder relationships (government officials, CXOs, EPC partners), negotiations, and contracts.

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Build and mentor BD/sales teams, set KPIs/incentives, review pipelines, and ensure cross-functional alignment.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Form alliances with OEMs, battery/EV providers, EPC firms, and integrators for joint bids and growth.

Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Monitor trends, competitors, and position the company as a strategic partner.

Reporting & Governance

  • Direct reporting to MD/Board with regular updates on revenue, order book, risks, and opportunities.

EXPERIENCE

  • 10–15+ years in BD/strategic sales in IT/IT infrastructure, IoT/AI/ERP, battery/EV/renewable energy, or smart city/infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of closing large deals (₹10 Cr+ preferred).
  • Strong government tendering and enterprise sales experience.
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech (Engineering preferred); MBA (Marketing/Strategy) advantageous.
  • Competencies:Strategic leadership, negotiation, techno-commercial expertise, CXO/government-level engagement, revenue/P&L ownership.
