Hush Lush Events is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef skilled in both South Indian and North Indian cuisine to lead our kitchen operations for events and catering services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu planning, food quality, kitchen management, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and oversee South Indian and North Indian dishes for events and catering
  • Plan menus according to event requirements and client preferences
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with procurement team
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Control food cost and minimize wastage
  • Train junior chefs and kitchen helpers
  • Coordinate with operations team during events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Head Chef in South & North Indian cuisine
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP preferred)
  • Ability to handle high-volume cooking for events
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • UAE experience is an advantage
