Role Purpose
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef – Thai Cuisine to lead our kitchen operations and deliver authentic Thai flavors with a modern fine dining touch. The role requires expertise in traditional Thai cooking techniques, menu innovation, and kitchen management, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations for the Thai cuisine section.
- Design, develop, and update menus with a balance of authentic Thai flavors and creative presentations.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and authenticity in all dishes.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships, focusing on quality Thai ingredients.
- Control food costs, minimize waste, and achieve targeted profitability.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with F&B management on special promotions, tasting menus, and events.
- Stay updated on Thai culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism, continuously enhancing the dining experience.
Requirements
- Culinary degree or relevant certification.
- Minimum 7–10 years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years as a Head Chef / Sous Chef specializing in Thai cuisine.
- Deep knowledge of authentic Thai recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
- Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse kitchen team and work under pressure.
- Passionate about Thai food and committed to excellence in presentation and taste.
