Head Chef- Thai Cuisine

Role Purpose

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef – Thai Cuisine to lead our kitchen operations and deliver authentic Thai flavors with a modern fine dining touch. The role requires expertise in traditional Thai cooking techniques, menu innovation, and kitchen management, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations for the Thai cuisine section.
  • Design, develop, and update menus with a balance of authentic Thai flavors and creative presentations.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and authenticity in all dishes.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships, focusing on quality Thai ingredients.
  • Control food costs, minimize waste, and achieve targeted profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with F&B management on special promotions, tasting menus, and events.
  • Stay updated on Thai culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism, continuously enhancing the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of culinary experience, with at least 3 years as a Head Chef / Sous Chef specializing in Thai cuisine.
  • Deep knowledge of authentic Thai recipes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse kitchen team and work under pressure.
  • Passionate about Thai food and committed to excellence in presentation and taste.
