Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and execute the digital engineering unit's strategic plan.

Accountable for aligning digital initiatives with the bank's overall strategic objectives.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital engineering team.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the unit.

Champion a customer-centric approach through user research and feedback collection.

Drive continuous improvement of digital services to meet customer needs.

Development and grooming of Team Members in a way that helps the bank.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering/IT/Computer Applications.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Certified Product Owner (CPO)
Experience and Skills:
-
Minimum 15 years’ experience in Banking Channels, payments and cards, minimum 8 years leading a team in this area.

Proven experience in leading digital engineering teams within the financial services or related industry.

Strong knowledge of web and mobile development, payment processing, and card technologies.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
