The Head Employee Relations is responsible for managing employee relations matters across the Bank, ensuring a fair, compliant, and professional workplace environment. The role oversees disciplinary matters, grievance handling, employee conduct, and workplace investigations while ensuring compliance with internal policies, labor laws, and SBP regulatory requirements. The incumbent will play a key role in maintaining positive employee relations, minimizing workplace risk, and supporting management in employee-related matters.
Position Title: Head Employee Relations
Qualification: Minimum Graduate, preferably MBA / M.Com from an HEC recognized university.
Experience Required: Preferably 10 years of banking / financial institution experience in Employee Relations or related HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Bank’s employee relations framework in line with HR policies, labor laws, and SBP guidelines.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary cases, misconduct matters, and workplace investigations with fairness and confidentiality.
- Provide guidance to management on employee conduct, policy interpretation, and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of employee complaints and workplace disputes to maintain a healthy work environment.
- Review and recommend disciplinary actions in line with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee domestic inquiries, warning letters, show-cause notices, and other employee relation documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, HR governance standards, and internal code of conduct.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and HR teams on sensitive employee cases and regulatory matters.
- Support management in handling employee exits involving disciplinary or conduct-related concerns.
- Monitor employee relations trends and recommend corrective measures to reduce workplace risk and improve engagement.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all employee relations matters for audit and regulatory review.
