Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control procedures to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
• Oversee floor care operations, including carpet cleaning, polishing, stripping, waxing, and other industrial cleaning techniques.
• Train staff on proper cleaning methods, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities around operational needs without disrupting service.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards related to industrial cleaning and custodial work.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail for quality assurance.
• Ability to train staff effectively on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Experience managing inventory, scheduling staff shifts, and maintaining operational efficiency.
