The role is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s entire IT and Information Security infrastructure. The position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and leadership to manage diverse teams and high-pressure situations.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & Systems Management
Monitor and manage all IT systems and information security operations. Strong knowledge of hardware, server management, and system troubleshooting. Manage storage systems: SAN, NAS, HBA, LUN creation. Handle Smart Array, RAID configurations (RAID 5, 1, 10), disk mirroring & clustering.
Server & Network Administration
Expertise in proxy server, web and content filtering. Manage antivirus servers, policies, patches, and endpoint security. Administer FTP servers with batch scripts and database interface. Virtualization management (Windows/Linux VMs): VCMS setup, HA, VM cloning, migration. Backup & disaster recovery: Veritas, ArcServe, tape drives, DR restore.
Network Management
LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi management with routers, L2/L3 switches. Firewall administration with HA, IPSLA, and NAC systems. Manage leased lines and MPLS circuits. VPN concentrator and client management (IPSec TCP/UDP).
User Support & Vendor Coordination
Support remote users for LAN, VPN, database, conferencing, email (Outlook), and laptop issues. Coordinate with external vendors for IT infrastructure and service-related issues.
