Primary Purpose of the Job:
Ensures LNG shipping operations are conducted in strict accordance with international maritime standards, and environmental regulations, particularly under International Maritime Organization (IMO) and EU regulatory bodies.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Shipping operations preferably in the LNG
business.
- Comprehensive understanding of LNG ship design, including Cargo containment
systems, propulsion technologies & gas burning capabilities, BOG reliquefaction
systems, and other emerging technologies in design and construction of LNG ships
and the regulatory framework that covers them.
- Good understanding of the global Shipping Regulatory landscape and industry
standards related to LNG Shipping and a good understanding of various
consultative members’ role within such organizations.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Marine, Engineering or
similar OR Class 1 Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner/Chief
Engineer).
