- Job Title: Head - Merchants
- Salary: Rs.60k to 90k per month and above (commensurate with experience)

- Reports to: Senior Management / Director Role
Overview:
- The Head - Merchants leads the merchant team to ensure effective communication, organized follow-ups, timely deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.
- This role requires strong organizational and follow-up skills, proficiency in maintaining Google Sheets for tracking, and the ability to guide customers on appropriate product choices, while driving sales growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Team Leadership & Coordination
- - Manage and mentor the team of merchants, ensuring clear roles and accountability.
- - Remain in the communication loop on all merchant-customer interactions.
- - Conduct daily discussions with merchants to review customer status, challenges, and action plans.
- - Customer Escalations & Relationship Management
- - Address customer escalations directly, providing confidence and clear delivery commitments.
- - Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term retention.
- - Production & Delivery Alignment
- - Coordinate with production and merchant teams to align delivery schedules with customer expectations.
- - Ensure timely planning and dispatch of goods as per commitments.
- - Sample Management
- - Personally oversee customer sample requests, ensuring follow-up and timely submission.
- - Product Knowledge & Consultation
- - Understand all types of elastics offered by the company and advise customers on the most appropriate options for their needs.
- - Proactively suggest solutions that improve customer outcomes.
- - Follow-up & Reporting
- - Maintain organized Google Sheets to track customer orders, follow-ups, escalations, and sample statuses.
- - Ensure timely and effective follow-ups with customers and internal teams.

- - In-depth product knowledge of elastics or willingness to learn
