Orthopaedia Hospital in Dokki is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Nurse to lead and supervise our nursing team across inpatient, outpatient, ER, OR, and ICU units. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent clinical judgment, team-management abilities, and a passion for delivering world-class patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations across all hospital departments
• Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and documentation
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance
• Manage nursing schedules, staffing levels, and workflow
• Implement hospital policies, infection control protocols, and quality assurance standards
• Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, and department managers
• Lead emergency response protocols and ensure readiness
• Participate in accreditation, audits, and training programs
• Monitor inventory of nursing supplies, medications, and consumables
• Handle patient complaints and resolve care-related issues professionally

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) – Master’s preferred
• Registered Nurse license from Egyptian Ministry of Health
• Minimum 5–7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/lead role
• Experience in orthopedic, surgical, ER, or ICU settings is a strong advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced medical environment
• Excellent knowledge of infection control & clinical protocols
• Ready to work shifts when needed and respond to emergencies
