Head Nurse

Job Summary:

The Head Nurse is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily clinical operations within the assigned unit. The role combines clinical leadership, staff supervision, and coordination with medical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead nursing staff, including scheduling and performance monitoring
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and patient safety protocols
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient outcomes and address clinical issues promptly
• Manage nursing resources, supplies, and equipment
• Provide training, guidance, and support to nursing staff
• Handle patient and family concerns professionally
• Prepare reports and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) – Master’s preferred
• Valid nursing license
• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior nursing role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
