Head of AI & BI Reporting

Role Overview


The Head of AI & BI Reporting will lead MultiBank Group’s enterprise-wide AI, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting functions. This strategic leadership role is responsible for building a data-driven culture, driving AI adoption across the organization, and delivering advanced analytics capabilities that support business growth, operational excellence, customer engagement, and executive decision-making.


The successful candidate will oversee AI initiatives, predictive analytics, BI reporting, customer intelligence, experimentation frameworks, and enterprise analytics platforms while leading a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, BI Analysts, Data Engineers, and AI Specialists. This role will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, transforming complex data into actionable business strategies.


Key Responsibilities


AI Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the Group-wide AI, Analytics, and Business Intelligence strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the development and deployment of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation solutions across business functions.
  • Establish AI governance frameworks, model monitoring standards, explainability practices, and responsible AI policies.
  • Identify opportunities where AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics can improve revenue growth, customer engagement, retention, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and tools to maintain competitive advantage within the financial services sector.


Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics

  • Build end-to-end analytical frameworks to evaluate the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and customer lifetime value.
  • Develop enterprise-wide KPI frameworks and executive dashboards to monitor business performance across trading, operations, marketing, finance, and customer experience.
  • Leverage outputs from machine learning models, including churn prediction, customer lifetime value (LTV), propensity scoring, and recommendation engines, to drive predictive decision-making.
  • Design advanced customer segmentation models using clustering techniques such as K-Means, Hierarchical Clustering, and DBSCAN combined with behavioral feature engineering.
  • Perform deep funnel analysis using event-level data, clickstream analytics, customer journeys, and platform interaction data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Apply attribution modeling methodologies, including rule-based attribution, probabilistic attribution, and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Translate complex datasets, predictive model outputs, and AI-generated insights into commercially actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.


Experimentation & Optimization

  • Design, implement, and evaluate experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and uplift modeling with statistical rigor.
  • Establish best practices for hypothesis testing, experimentation governance, and measurement methodologies across business functions.
  • Monitor and optimize key metrics such as customer acquisition cost, activation rates, retention, engagement, churn, conversion, and lifetime value.


Data Engineering & Reporting

  • Oversee the development of scalable analytics pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Build automated reporting, forecasting, monitoring, and anomaly detection solutions using AI-powered analytics tools.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and regulatory compliance across all reporting and analytics environments.
  • Manage large-scale structured, semi-structured, and event-driven datasets from trading platforms, CRM systems, marketing technologies, web applications, and third-party data sources.
  • Drive self-service analytics capabilities across the organization through modern BI tools and data democratization initiatives.


Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across AI, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting functions.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Technology, Trading, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
  • Present strategic insights, AI roadmaps, and performance updates to senior management and executive leadership.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience building and leading enterprise AI, BI, and analytics functions within financial services, fintech, banking, capital markets, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and large-scale data transformation, modeling, and analytics.
  • Advanced Python skills, including experience with Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Scikit-Learn, and related analytical libraries.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, predictive analytics, and machine learning methodologies.
  • Experience evaluating model performance using metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1 Score, ROC-AUC, Lift, Incrementality, and business impact measures.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
  • Experience with product analytics platforms including Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cohort analysis, retention modeling, funnel optimization, customer segmentation, and LTV analysis.
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks, experimental design, and causal inference methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud analytics environments and modern data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics solutions, copilots, and automation tools for reporting, forecasting, anomaly detection, and business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, trading platforms, CFDs, Forex, Cryptocurrency, or capital markets is highly desirable.


Preferred Profile

  • Experience implementing Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI assistants, and intelligent automation solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and production AI deployment frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building analytics centers of excellence and scaling high-performing AI and BI teams.
  • Experience working within highly regulated financial environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
