Our client is an upcoming premium food manufacturing company based in Doha, Qatar, operating within the FMCG, health & beauty, and gourmet food sectors. Renowned for their strong presence in B2C e-commerce and B2B distribution across the GCC, they are consistently setting new standards in quality, innovation, and consumer engagement. To support their continued growth, we are seeking a Head of Branding and Product Development Manager who will lead innovation initiatives, manage new product launches, and drive the ongoing enhancement of their diverse product portfolio.

Job Title: Head of Branding and Product Development - FMCG
Location: State of Qatar
Employment Status: Full-Time Employee
Reports To: Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Salary: Best in the industry
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Arabic or strong cultural literacy within the GCC is highly preferred.

Role Overview:
The Head of Branding and Product Development will lead the creation and growth of a premium saffron product line in Qatar and international markets. This role focuses on product design, packaging, and supporting brand execution, targeting luxury gifting and GCC retail preferences, as well as opportunities in pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors. Responsibilities include shaping the product roadmap and driving successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Lead innovation of new product formats including wellness supplements, pharmaceuticals, and beauty/skincare for local and international markets.
  • Develop saffron SKUs (gift sets, jars, HORECA packs) tailored to GCC consumer trends and global categories.
  • Expand wholesale saffron distribution in key markets.
  • Manage packaging design and production, ensuring compliance with Arabic and English regulations and brand standards.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and sourcing for packaging materials.
  • Ensure all products embody a premium, luxury brand image.

Brand & Marketing

  • Shape and evolve brand identity and visual direction.
  • Drive marketing strategies for digital and retail channels.
  • Manage e-commerce content and product listings.
  • Collaborate with creatives to produce impactful visuals and advertising.

Commercial Coordination

  • Partner with Sales to test SKUs, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Analyze marketing ROI to refine messaging and enhance product-market fit.

Qualifications:

  • 10–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in management, in FMCG or food product branding, packaging, or innovation.
  • Proven success in physical product development within F&B or CPG sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Product Design, Business, Brand Management, Food Technology, or related field; Master’s (MBA/MSc) preferred.
  • Certifications in Brand/Product Management or Digital Marketing are a plus.
  • Knowledge of packaging design, luxury branding, and consumer psychology beneficial.
  • Experience in health, wellness, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics industries highly desirable.
  • Skilled in IT-enabled product management, e-commerce, and digital tools.
  • Strong understanding of GCC cultural preferences and gifting behaviors.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or strong GCC cultural literacy preferred.
  • Startup experience or new brand launches is an advantage.
