Job Summary:

The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding revenue streams. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis, deal-making, and team leadership to accelerate sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Growth:

  • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy aligned with overall corporate goals.
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Partnerships & Sales Enablement :

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships, alliances, and key accounts.
  • Lead high-value negotiations and close complex commercial deals.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align go-to-market strategies.

Revenue & Performance :

  • Own business development targets and revenue growth KPIs.
  • Build and manage sales pipelines for new opportunities.
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6-11 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
