Head of Business Development

We are partnering with a globally active high-frequency trading and market-making firm operating across digital asset markets. The firm trades over $5 billion in daily volume , is connected to 14+ exchanges , and manages approximately $500 million in AUM .

With a strong foundation in market making and OTC liquidity , the firm has built a scalable global trading infrastructure and is now focused on expanding its institutional footprint in North America .

Location: North America (New York preferred)

The Role

You will lead the firm’s Americas expansion, owning regional strategy and acting as the senior commercial point of contact across institutional partners. This role is focused on unlocking access, building critical infrastructure relationships, and driving long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with banks, custodians, payment providers, and prime brokers
• Drive strategic partnerships across OTC, liquidity, credit, and custody infrastructure
• Enable institutional onboarding by navigating compliance, regulatory, and operational frameworks
• Represent the firm at industry events and senior-level meetings
• Provide insights on market structure, regulation, and partnership opportunities
• Own and manage a strong pipeline of institutional partnerships

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in institutional sales, partnerships, or business development
• Strong network across North American financial institutions
• Proven track record of originating and closing high-value partnerships
• Deep understanding of institutional trading infrastructure and onboarding requirements
• Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder
• Strong communication skills with executive-level presence

Preferred Background

• Experience in market making, trading firms, crypto, or fintech infrastructure
• Familiarity with derivatives, liquidity provision, and institutional market structure
