Head of Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Construction to lead and oversee ongoing construction projects, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, cost control, and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Project Management will be preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in the construction industry, including senior management positions.
• Proven experience in leading multiple ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all ongoing construction projects from planning to completion.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project reports and provide updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manage project teams, including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Supervisors.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement planning, and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes and project delivery.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera P6, and relevant construction management software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Position: Head of Construction
Experience: Minimum 12 Years (Senior Management Level)
Education: Master's Degree in Construction/Project Management or relevant discipline
Location: As per company requirement.

Pay: From Rs250,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Karachi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
