Job Title: Head of Content - Arab Nation
About the Role The Head of Content is a strategic and creative leader responsible for shaping the storytelling direction of Arab Nation and its client accounts, ensuring consistent quality, tone, and creative excellence across all platforms. This role oversees the entire content department — including senior scriptwriters, scriptwriters, and researchers — and ensures that all content produced for Arab Nation's platforms as well as for clients aligns with the organization's vision, values, and brand identity. The ideal candidate combines creativity, cultural insight, and strong leadership to produce high-impact Arabic content that resonates with diverse audiences across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Direction

Lead the ideation and development of Arabic digital shows, campaigns, and social-first content for Arab Nation and client pages

Approve all content — from scripts and concepts to final deliverables — ensuring high quality and consistency

Adapt international or trending formats into culturally relevant and regionally appealing versions

Maintain creative excellence while balancing innovation, clarity, and cultural sensitivity

Ensure that all content reflects both Arab Nation's tone and each client's brand direction

Strategic Planning & Content Vision

Define and execute the overall content strategy for Arab Nation and client accounts in line with business goals

Establish storytelling pillars, tone, and content frameworks tailored to each platform and audience

Oversee content calendars, campaign rollouts, and publishing schedules with production and digital teams

Identify new creative opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations

Uphold Arab Nation's mission of portraying a positive and progressive Arab identity while meeting client objectives

Team Leadership & Oversight

Manage and mentor the content team (Senior Scriptwriters, Scriptwriters, and Researchers)

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely, high-quality content delivery

Review and approve all scripts and creative materials before production

Conduct regular team meetings to align priorities across both internal and client projects

Encourage creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team

Cross-Department Collaboration

Collaborate with the Head of Production, Head of Digital Media, and Head of Client Team to align creative, execution, and campaign goals

Partner with the Project Lead and Client Team on campaign ideas, content pitches, and brand storytelling

Coordinate with production teams to ensure visuals and narratives align with approved scripts

Participate in leadership discussions to review performance, challenges, and new creative initiatives. 5. Performance & Innovation

Monitor engagement and content performance across Arab Nation and client platforms to guide creative decisions

Analyze audience insights and digital trends to identify new opportunities

Continuously refine tone, structure, and storytelling style to maintain relevance and quality

Promote experimentation with new content formats, creative tools, and storytelling techniques
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:

8-12 years of experience in media, content strategy, or creative writing, including 3-5 years in a leadership role

Proven track record in developing and scaling content for multiple brands or audiences

Strong Arabic writing and editorial skills (English proficiency is an asset)

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities

Deep understanding of Arab culture, trends, and audience behavior

Strategic thinker with a strong creative vision and executional discipline
