Head of Custody, Crypto - Dubai/London

AP Executive are working with a crypto start-up who are seeking a Head of Custody to lead the design, operation, and governance of their digital asset custody function. This role is critical to ensuring the secure, compliant, and scalable safekeeping of client and proprietary crypto assets. You will own custody strategy end-to-end, from wallet architecture and key management to operational controls, regulatory compliance, and incident response.

The business has serious backers and a highly experienced C-Suite with significant background in scaling start-up businesses

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, operation, and governance of the digital asset custody function

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cryptoasset custody and institutional digital asset infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of Fireblocks
• Proven experience with blockchain analytics and KYT tools, including Chainalysis and Elliptic
• Practical experience of Travel Rule implementation and compliance, including working with Notabene
• A strong understanding of regulatory, operational, and security requirements in digital asset custody
