Human Capital HR Solutions (HC) is hiring on behalf of its client, a leading organization in the logistics and freight forwarding sector, for the position of Head of Customs Clearance.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in customs operations, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient import/export operations.

Qualification

• Master’s degree / MBA or relevant qualification

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end customs clearance for import/export consignments
• Ensure accurate preparation, verification, and submission of customs documentation
• Liaise with Pakistan Customs, port authorities, shipping lines, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with customs laws, SROs, and trade regulations
• Resolve customs-related delays, issues, and disputes effectively
• Lead, mentor, and develop the customs clearance team
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvements

Eligibility Criteria

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan Customs procedures and import/export regulations
• Proven leadership and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Profile

• Experience with reputable logistics and freight forwarding companies
• Ability to manage high-volume operations with a strong compliance and efficiency focus
