Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Cybersecurity to lead our cybersecurity strategy, oversee IT security operations, and safeguard critical systems. This role requires strong leadership, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to align cybersecurity initiatives with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Strategy: Define and implement enterprise-wide security frameworks.
• Risk Management: Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Incident Response: Lead investigations and recovery efforts for security breaches.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GCC regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policies.
• Security Architecture: Oversee network, cloud, and application security design.
• Team Leadership: Mentor cybersecurity staff and foster a culture of vigilance and accountability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executives, IT teams, and regulators to align security with business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT security experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Expertise in cloud security, network defense, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Experience in multinational or regional trading/logistics organizations preferred.

Pay: KD1,800.000 - KD2,800.000 per month
