Role Overview

The Head of Data Science will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing data science team, developing advanced models, and aligning data strategies with business objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to transform data into actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Data strategy: Define and execute the company’s data science roadmap.
• Advanced analytics: Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business growth.
• Machine learning: Architect and deploy scalable ML solutions.
• Data governance: Ensure data quality, compliance, and ethical use of AI.
• Innovation leadership: Evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption of cutting-edge tools.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across IT, product, and business units.
• Team leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a world-class data science team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head of Data Science or senior data leadership role.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Deep knowledge of data engineering, MLOps, and AI ethics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms are highly desirable.
