Head of Digital – Investment Banking Platforms & Mobile App
Role Purpose
The
Head of Digital
will lead the end-to-end digital strategy, delivery, and ongoing evolution of the Investment Bank’s
mobile app, digital client platforms, and investment systems
, with a core focus on
private markets and real estate products
.
This role owns the
digital investment experience
for HNWIs, UHNWIs, and institutional clients—covering onboarding, portfolio visibility, deal subscriptions, reporting, and post-investment lifecycle management—while ensuring full alignment with regulatory, operational, and risk frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Product Ownership

Define and own the
digital roadmap
for:

Client mobile application (iOS / Android)
-
Web-based investment portals
-
Internal investment and deal-management systems
-
Translate business strategy for
private equity, real estate, private credit, and structured products
into scalable digital solutions.

Act as
Product Owner
for all digital investment platforms, prioritizing features, enhancements, and releases.
2. Mobile App & Client Experience
-
Lead the design and delivery of a
best-in-class wealth & investment mobile app
, including:

Digital onboarding (KYC, AML, suitability)
-
Deal discovery and private market offerings
-
Investment subscription and document execution
-
Portfolio dashboards and performance reporting
-
Capital calls, distributions, and notifications
-
Drive UX/UI excellence tailored to
HNW/UHNW client expectations

Ensure seamless omnichannel experience across mobile, web, and relationship-manager workflows.
3. Investment Systems & Private Markets Platforms
-
Oversee systems supporting:
-
Private market deal lifecycle (origination → execution → exit)
-
Real estate investments (SPVs, funds, asset-level reporting)
-
Fund structures (closed-end and evergreen vehicles)
-
Capital accounts, waterfalls, fees, and carried interest visibility
-
Ensure tight integration between:
-
Core banking systems
-
CRM / client data platforms
-
Portfolio accounting and reporting engines
-
Partner with Investment, Real Estate, and Asset Management teams to digitize workflows.
4. Delivery, Governance & Stakeholder Management

Lead cross-functional delivery teams (internal IT, vendors, fintech partners).

Own
project governance
, including:

Timelines, budgets, and milestones

Vendor selection and management

Risk, dependency, and change management

Act as the primary digital interface for:

Compliance, Risk, and Legal

5. Regulatory, Security & Data Governance

Ensure platforms comply with applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g. suitability, disclosures, data privacy).

Work closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure digital products meet regulatory expectations for investment banking and private markets.

Monitor fintech and wealth-tech trends relevant to private markets and real estate investing.

Candidate Profile
Experience
-
10+ years’ experience in
digital product, technology, or transformation roles
within:
-
Investment banking
-
Asset management
-
Private equity / real estate investment platforms
-
Wealth or private banking
-
Proven track record delivering
mobile apps and digital investment platforms
in regulated financial environments.

Strong exposure to
private markets
, real estate funds, or alternative investments (essential).
Technical & Functional Knowledge

Deep understanding of:

Private market investment structures (funds, SPVs, evergreen vehicles)

Subscription, capital call, and distribution processes

Portfolio reporting and performance analytics

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
