Position Overview
We are seeking a Head of Educational Technology (EdTech) to lead and manage the company’s digital learning strategy, technology integration, and innovation initiatives. This role requires a highly experienced professional with strong technical expertise, educational leadership skills, and the ability to align EdTech initiatives with academic and organizational objectives. The Head of EdTech will play a key role in driving modernization and maintaining MTS’s reputation for excellence in digital education services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the organization’s educational technology roadmap.
• Oversee digital learning platforms, tools, and systems integration.
• Lead innovation initiatives to enhance teaching, learning, and student engagement.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to align technology with curriculum goals.
• Ensure compliance with Oman’s education and IT regulations.
• Evaluate emerging EdTech trends and recommend adoption strategies.
• Mentor and guide teams to achieve excellence in digital transformation projects.
• Prepare reports and recommendations on technology investments and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in educational technology, digital learning, or IT strategy.
• Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and digital pedagogy.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, ERP systems, and EdTech frameworks.
• Ability to manage complex projects and deliver under deadlines.
