Position is based at the Ledger - 240 S Main Street, Bentonville, AR. Incumbent should reside within the Arvest 4 State Operational Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK). Remote work options may be available for residents outside of the 4-state footprint upon further review during the interview process.

Head of Enterprise Platforms
Job Summary
The Head of Enterprise Platforms at Arvest defines and executes the strategic roadmap, technical governance, operational excellence, and financial stewardship across the organization’s enterprise platforms—including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google, and the bank’s core banking ecosystems (such as Fiserv Signature, FIS, or Jack Henry). They ensure platforms are secure, scalable, efficient, and integrated to deliver enterprise value. The Head of Enterprise Platforms emphasizes platform standardization, API reuse, vendor-aligned best practices, and tight integration with core banking systems to support growth, modernization, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the multi-year strategic roadmap, technical governance, and operational excellence for all enterprise platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google) and core banking systems (such as Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry).
- Integrate enterprise platforms with the core banking ecosystem to enable seamless data flows, efficient servicing, and consistent customer experiences.
- Lead cross-platform architecture, modernization, and rationalization efforts to reduce technical debt, improve scalability, and ensure seamless system integration. Oversee the design and delivery of reusable, secure, and maintainable enterprise capabilities, including shared components, integrations, and workflow automations.
- Establish and enforce a vendor-aligned API strategy to promote component reuse, reduce custom development, and accelerate delivery velocity across the organization. Lead modernization and integration strategies between core banking systems and enterprise platforms to enhance real-time processing, eventing, and straight-through workflows.
- Partner with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data teams to ensure designs meet regulatory standards (FFIEC, SOC, SOX) and enterprise resiliency goals.
- Own the strategic roadmap for core banking platforms, driving upgrades, release cycles, and integration strategies to ensure optimal performance, stability, security, and reduced customization.
- Establish a unified governance framework across enterprise and core banking platforms, including intake, prioritization, change management, and lifecycle ownership.
- Maintain strong operational controls to minimize risk, enhance resilience, and ensure compliance with financial services regulatory requirements.
- Oversee spend, licensing, utilization, and contract negotiations, developing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) frameworks to maximize platform reuse and efficiency.
- Partner with business and technology product owners to translate strategic objectives into scalable enterprise and core capabilities.
- Supervise two or more associates. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting any known violations of compliance policies, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
- Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Experience
- Required: 10 years of experience leading enterprise or platform technology teams within Financial Services.
- Proven leadership in Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google Workspace/Cloud, and core banking platforms (such as Fiserv Signature, FIS, Jack Henry).
- Deep understanding of core banking integration patterns, data flows, vendor-provided APIs, and modernization strategies.
- Experience implementing API management frameworks (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft) to support cross-platform orchestration.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize licensing, reduce tech debt, and increase reuse across large-scale enterprise portfolios.
- Excellent communication, vendor leadership, and executive stakeholder management capabilities.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted for the Master’s degree requirement.
- Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
