Roles and Responsibilities
Planning and Strategy

Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures

Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
Budget Management

Develop budget requirements ensuring alignment to plans and needs
Environmental Services

Keep abreast of latest trends in environmental services across other national and international healthcare networks, and integrate improvement opportunities within Dallah practices

Align with Facility Planning and Standards (HO) on environmental services standards, guidelines, and SLAs
-
Identify facility needs pertaining to environmental services (i.e., housekeeping, laundry, and waste management) based on received input, historical data, best practices, etc.

Define environmental services annual plan including needed resources and schedules, and ensure alignment with facility needs and pre-set SLAs

Oversee shifts schedules to ensure hygienic environment and patient satisfaction during peak and non-peak hours

Review and consolidate housekeeping performance reports highlighting key findings and areas of improvement
People Management

Optimize resources and ensure team is efficient and provide recommendations for improvement

Contribute to employee performance management, and provide formal and informal feedback to support professional development and maximize performance
