The Job Role:

The Head of Equity Investments will lead Zarea Limited’s equity investment strategy and portfolio management. This senior leadership role requires a highly analytical and strategic professional who can identify high-value investment opportunities, manage risks, and drive strong returns while aligning with the company’s long-term financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

 Develop and execute equity investment strategies aligned with the company’s growth and financial goals.
 Lead and manage the company’s equity investment portfolio to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
 Conduct in-depth market research, financial analysis, and valuation of investment opportunities.
 Identify emerging market trends and new investment avenues across sectors.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, brokers, financial institutions, and market stakeholders.
 Oversee due diligence processes and investment decision-making frameworks.
 Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal risk management policies.
 Collaborate with senior leadership to define investment KPIs and strategic objectives.
 Lead, mentor, and develop a team of investment professionals.

Requirements and Skills:

 Minimum 10+ years of experience in equity investments, asset management, or financial services.
 At least 5+ years in a leadership role managing investment portfolios or teams.
 MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent qualification from a reputable institution.
 Strong expertise in portfolio management, equity markets, financial modeling, and valuation techniques.
 Proven track record of managing high-value investment portfolios and delivering strong returns.
 In-depth knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
 Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills.
 Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
 Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
