Head of Finance

The Head of Finance will lead and oversee all financial functions of the company, ensuring sound financial planning, budgeting, control, compliance, and strategic decision support. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth, particularly across manufacturing, catering, and event management operations, by driving financial efficiency and ensuring fiscal discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.

Advise senior leadership on financial performance, risk, and investment opportunities.

Provide financial insights to support business expansion and diversification.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.

Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and cash flow targets.

Conduct variance analysis and provide timely recommendations.

3. Accounting & Reporting

Oversee the entire accounting cycle including GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Ensure alignment with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

4. Costing & Manufacturing Finance

Develop and manage cost accounting systems for manufacturing operations.

Oversee product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

5. Compliance & Governance

Ensure tax compliance (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, etc.) and liaison with regulatory bodies.

Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Manage banking relationships, treasury, and insurance matters.

6. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.

Foster a culture of accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
