Role snapshot
Lead end-to-end finance: consolidated reporting, IFRS compliance, Corporate Tax and VAT, audits, cash & treasury, financial controls, ERP improvements and a growing finance team.

Key responsibilities

Own month-end and year-end close and deliver consolidated financial statements and board packs under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and 12-month cash-flow planning.
Prepare and oversee UAE Corporate Tax (CT) and VAT filings, tax planning and CT readiness.

Manage external/internal audits, close material findings and work with auditors/advisors.

Oversee treasury, cash management, bank facilities and trade finance arrangements.
Build financial models for investments, credit facilities and strategic decisions.

Strengthen controls, drive process improvements and lead ERP/finance system workstreams.

Lead, mentor and grow the finance team; report to CEO/founders/board.

Must-have

Bachelor’s in Accounting / Finance (CPA / CMA / ACCA / CA / MBA preferred).

Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with ≥2 years in a managerial role (senior/leadership experience preferred).

Hands-on with IFRS consolidated reporting and UAE Corporate Tax (CT) preparation / management.

Proven experience with VAT compliance in the UAE.

Experience with ERP systems (Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / SAP / Zoho / similar) and strong Excel financial modelling.

Audit ownership, treasury/banking experience and multi-entity consolidation.

Strong communicator, ethical and commercially minded; able to present to founders/board.
