About the role :

Mazeed is looking for a Head of Financial services to lead and scale its Finance-as-a-Service business line end-to-end.

This role carries full ownership of service quality, operations, client experience, and overall performance of the FaaS vertical, while also supporting sustainable revenue growth. The selected candidate will lead both the Operations and commercial teams, with a strong focus on building a high-quality, scalable, and efficient service model.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operations & Service Quality

    • Lead the operations team delivering accounting, tax, and CFO services

    • Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely service delivery

    • Monitor and improve SLAs, turnaround time, and client satisfaction

    • Identify gaps in service delivery and implement improvements

    • Standardize processes and build scalable workflows

    Service Expansion & Productization

    • Introduce and develop new FaaS services (CFO, payroll, advisory, etc.)

    • Package services into structured, scalable offerings

    • Continuously improve and evolve existing services

    Customer Experience & Retention

    • Own the full client journey from onboarding to ongoing support

    • Improve client experience and service consistency

    • Reduce churn and increase client lifetime value

    • Handle key clients and escalations

    Business Performance & Efficiency

    • Own overall performance of the FaaS business line

    • Improve utilization, efficiency, and cost structure

    • Ensure alignment between sales promises and service delivery

    Sales Oversight

    • Support the sales team in positioning and closing deals

    • Ensure proper scoping and smooth handover from sales to operations

    • Contribute to upsell and cross-sell opportunities

    Brand & Market Presence

    • Act as a representative of FaaS in client and partner interactions

    • Collaborate with marketing on content and thought leadership

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred); certifications like ACCA, CPA, or CFA are a strong plus
  • 10–15+ years in financial services, consulting, or accounting, with proven P&L ownership
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in revenue growth, BD strategy, enterprise deals, and pricing optimization
  • Experience in scaling and productizing services (FaaS), including launching new offerings and driving upsell
  • Strong operations leadership, with focus on SLAs, efficiency, client experience, and churn reduction
  • Proven ability to improve unit economics (ARPU, LTV) and overall business performance
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management, with ability to lead cross-functional teams
